This game is the creation of Stranding Studio where I was part of duo design team, along with 5 artists and 4 programmers. In the project I served as the Game Designer and developed the Level Design and UI/UX Design of the game. I developed the concept of The Clean Up and it was approved for further development. A summary of the game is described below:

"A 3D isometric top-down simulation game where players play as an experienced thief that poses as a house cleaner, cleaning for high-end clientele but also robbing them at the same time. Players will have to juggle between cleaning the house in order to maintain your cover as a cleaner all the while searching it for valuables and stealing them. Go from one house to another, cleaning up their messes while stealing their Main Valuable and whatever other valuables that you can get your hands on, all before your time runs out."

Out of the 4 concepts that were submitted to lecturers on the first week, my concept was approved to be developed. I originally had 2 concepts prepared. The first concept is where a hitman carry out his job within his home while his targets are all outside. But I cut it short as I felt it did not fit well within the assigned theme of cover up. I then came up the idea of a cleaner that also robs the rich houses he cleans. I took the inspiration of heist in disguise from Payday while I look up Hitman GO for an isometric layout of the game.

The original plan I drafted up was that the player must complete all cleaning tasks in the house while searching furniture for valuables. NPCs will walk around and if they catch you stealing in the act the game is lost. Players get to rob different houses in the Malaysian styles. I was responsible for drafting and finalizing the level design of 5 levels even though only 1 level is complete due to time and team skill constraints.

Over the weeks along with our lead designer Adam we expanded these mechanics including the Main Valuable, a valuable item unique to each level that the players must steal. After level completion these are displayed in the Collection section where players can view them.

Personally I felt the concept I proposed in the early weeks were realized with relative success and it was certainly a joy to hear the reactions of visitors and developers alike to comment on it during the game viewing section in my semester.

Bellow are some of the level design concept of potential levels to view.
